VHP Decontamination Lock
The decontamination pass-through cabinet is used as a material pass-through for transferring materials between rooms with different cleanliness classes or different BSLs. A decontamination cycle using hydrogen peroxide vapor is used to decontaminate tools and materials.
Hydrogen peroxide vapors effectively destroy bacteria, viruses, spores, and mold without damaging sterilized materials. After the process is complete, hydrogen peroxide decomposes into water and oxygen, making it an environmentally friendly solution.

VHP Decontamination Lock
- Tightness class 3: According to ISO 10648-2.
- Cleanliness class 'B': According to EU GMP standard.
- Hydrogen peroxide: Antibacterial agent approved by the FDA at 35% concentration, which quickly oxidizes the cell walls of microorganisms, thereby destroying them.
- Intuitive control: Using a SIEMENS touch screen with program selection.
- Construction material: Chamber – 3 mm thick AISI 316L stainless steel. AISI 304 stainless steel, SB ground surface.
- Data communication via PROFINET: Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU.
- Can be supplied with an external or integrated H₂O₂ vapor generator.
Standard Equipment
- Swing doors: Made of 25 mm thick PMMA. The doors are sealed with a pneumatic silicone seal.
- Rotronic sensor: Measures temperature and humidity.
- HMI panel: SIEMENS touchscreen with Simatic control system.
- Hydrogen peroxide distribution: Distribution piping ensures optimal gas dispersal inside the chamber.
- Shelves: Mobile wire shelves allow for sterilization of the product from all sides.
